The Hulk, which came into the scene in 1961, became a raging beast due to a radiation accident that occurred in a lab. Coming into the scene of increasing threats of a nuclear holocaust, the regression of the Hulk to bestiality showed the lurking uneasiness that our scientific advances were about to bring forth.
